[Tornado] gasification furnace working principle

The furnace is a double-layer structure, with air inlet holes at the bottom of the outer layer and air outlet holes at the top of the inner layer. When we ignite the furnace and the furnace temperature rises, a chimney effect will occur, because the air density difference caused by the temperature difference will continuously inhale the fresh air from the outside into the furnace body. After the air is heated by the furnace body, the density becomes smaller and it will rise and enter the furnace from the air outlet at the top of our head. [Tornado] does not directly burn the fuel itself, but uses high temperature to dry distill pellet fuel or broken wood to produce combustible gas. When fresh air comes into contact with combustible gas, and the furnace temperature reaches more than 350 degrees, combustion will occur. Therefore, [Tornado] will hardly smoke under normal combustion conditions. It can be used in a tent or indoors, but it is recommended to keep the ventilation holes to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning due to incomplete combustion.

Why does the flame rotate?

[Tornado] The gasifier does not need a motor or fan to assist. We use the natural phenomenon of the Coriolis force. In the northern hemisphere, due to the inertial force generated by the rotation of the earth, objects will deviate to the right. We use this feature to design concentric circle oblique holes inside the furnace. Under this design, the secondary combustion generated by [Tornado] is rotating.

Will it fade after burning?
